The Villa Bembo a one of a kind ancient villa which dates to the 16th century located close to the wonderful Venice in an agricultural context of Mirano: a territory rich in historic villas. The property indoors it has a main body of 570 square meters with a rectangular plan, arranged on three levels where two independent units have been created; the pavilion roof is of fine workmanship which makes the garret beautiful. ...read morewever, left intact the internal structural spaces. The original structure dates to the sixteenth century and testimony to this are the Venetian floors and ceilings in the Sansovino style. The residence was completely renovated in 1831 and restored in 1982. The Villa is surrounded by a beautiful English park (about four hectares) in which there is a large central pond. Around this stands an octagonal gazebo in wood dating from the late nineteenth century, an ancient and still functioning icehouse and a well, richly carved in low relief. Not far from the villa stands the dovecote dating from the end of the sixteenth century, shaped as a tower, with square base, accessible in the lower part through the four arches under which there is a path in the park. In the park there is a semi-circular paved path, that cuts through a hill; this was the ancient route for carriages.
